Purpose & Values

Purpose

  • To support and facilitate research of Southern Right Whale (Eubalaena australis, Mammang, Mamang) population as it visits the southern coast of Western Australia, that will aid with the protection and recovery of the species. 

  • To facilitate education and understanding of the Southern Right Whale through the sharing of research, education, and storytelling. 

  • To promote the sharing of data and information with other organisations in Australia and Internationally who are engaged in the non-lethal research of the Southern Right Whale. 

  • To work with all our communities including our traditional custodians of our country to achieve our vision. 

  • To provide governance, control, direction and management of the Little White Whale Project and its resources so that the organisation effectively delivers its vision and goals.
